Year 9 HOUSE Speech Competition

Students in Year 9 English have been developing their confidence, competence and eloquence in Speaking & Listening this last term, on their “Taking a Stand” unit of work. They have crafted and drafted their speeches and rehearsed their delivery to influence an audience. A huge congratulations to the House Speech Competition Finalists who were incredibly brave to present their work in front of a live crowd. We think the panel of judges were impressed!
