In addition to these impressive offers, Tung has been awarded scholarships with a total value of USD 164,000 for four years of study, including USD 35,000 from the University of Sydney and USD 129,000 from VinUniversity. He is currently considering his final decision, but remains committed to pursuing a degree in Medicine with the long-term goal of specialising in Ophthalmology.

“I believe the role that teachers played was to help me determine and solidify my interest in a specific field of study. I initially explored different areas within Medical Sciences, but struggled to decide which path to pursue. Through discussions with my Biology teachers about the realistic expectations of each career, I was able to better understand how my strengths align with each field. That was when I decided to pursue Medicine.”
