If you haven’t had any idea, follow the journey of our BVIS Aladdin to see what he can do with a magic lamp. BVIS Aladdin and his friends in Year 6 did magic to turn the school stage into the dreamland of “One thousand and one nights”.

This week, we were proud to learn that one of our students, six-year-old Elsa Thien Long, was named as the winner of the 'Mini Miss Diamond Vietnam' pageant. She received this title during the grand finale of ‘Miss Diamond UK’

This May, BVIS Hanoi and TEKY Creative Academy co-host the Website Design Competition 2019: My Website - My Profile to seek the best ICT solution and talent, specifically in terms of building and developing website.

The first Southeast Asia region Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival ends successfully, leaving wonderful memories in the hearts of participants! This event, organised in collaboration with the Juilliard School, is high-quality programme for talented young musicians to get together with like-minded students from schools in the region.

BVIS student becomes the Champion of International History Bee and Bowl

As promised in last weeks’ article, I am pleased to write that the students attending the HAC Basketball event at UNIS last Thursday, enjoyed their chance to test their skills against opposing teams from other Hanoi based schools.

Here at BVIS Primary, we are always exploring new ways to be innovative in our teaching and learning. One such way is incorporating the use of learning technologies into our teaching and learning.  This will provide an environment where your children’s academic potential is realised through an enhanced learning experience, harnessing technology to support enquiry, reflection and perseverance.

You will hopefully have heard the name ‘Juilliard’, if not from its fame as a centre of excellence for its Arts programs, then from its collaboration with Nord Anglia Education and in particular the British Vietnamese International School Hanoi. Hilary Easton, one of the curriculum developers for the global collaboration, Juilliard Faculty Head and owner of her own dance school in New York, has worked with our students and staff to see how the Juilliard dance curriculum is working for our students.

Another week flies by and more magic moments are created, relationships between children and their new teachers are strengthened and former students, now in Secondary, remind you of why our school is just so special. Walking through to EYFS Ngoc Diep and Van Anh stopped me to tell me some jokes, and to give me a joke book Ngoc Diep bought in the UK whilst attending summer school.

Each week we encourage musicians to take to the stage in our assembly and perform in front of their peers.
