As we come to the end of a successful year at TBS, there have been many highlights for the whole school community from learning in the classroom, to sporting events, trips and special events such as International Week.

Children in Year 4 heard that aliens, who knew nothing about our host continent, would be visiting Europe.

Last week, Year 2 children had a chance to interview some special guests about their diets in the past! As part of our final Milepost 1 IPC unit, We Are What We Eat, we had a week focussed on history!

This term a group of Year 5 and 6 students joined the Photography with iPads LEAP club.

This week Year 5 took their learning outside and across the road to the community garden with Mr Halpin.

This week the whole of the primary school took part in their respective sports days.

All children in Year 4 worked hard over the last couple of weeks to revise spelling words learnt in Year 4.

Thanks to an incredible turn out from parents and visits from students in other year groups, Y6 students were able to share their learning in an event with a buzzing atmosphere.

One of the great privileges I have as Deputy Head of Primary is being able to go in and out of so many different classes to find out what children are excited about, what they are learning and how they are record their new knowledge and understanding.

This week Year 4 were visited by a Turkish artist Miss Suna Koçal.

Year 6 Rowan Class are creating their own wind turbines for a technology lesson in IPC Climate Control.
