Saint George School proudly presented Disney’s Aladdin Jr., a spectacular musical production featuring 185 students on stage in a vibrant celebration of talent, creativity, and the performing arts.

The Pre-Prep Publishing Party 2026 marked the culmination of a structured and meaningful writing journey, where students became published authors. Each spring, our Infant Years Easter Parade brings colour, creativity, and joy to campus. Our youngest learners proudly showcase handmade hats inspired by the magic of the season, transforming the school into a vibrant celebration of Easter. The experience continues with the much-anticipated Easter Egg Hunt, where curiosity, teamwork, and excitement take centre stage. More than a festive event, this tradition reflects the spirit of renewal, imagination, and growth that defines learning in the early years.

The 3rd Annual SGS Business NextGen Expo brought together innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking as our 11th Grade IB Business Management students showcased the businesses they have developed over the past several months.

SGS Cup 2026 marks another vibrant celebration of sport, school values, and community spirit at Saint George School. Bringing together 30 schools, the event officially opened with a flag procession, athlete delegations, and meaningful moments that highlighted discipline, teamwork, fair play, and integrity. A special tribute by alumni alongside their children reflected the lasting Dragon legacy, while the athletes’ oath set the tone for days of competition, fellowship, and unforgettable experiences both on and off the field.

The school backpack accompanies our children every day and is an essential part of their academic routine. However, when it is not used properly, it can become a source of physical discomfort, muscle pain, and even long-term postural issues.

Learning does not only happen through constant activity — it also grows in moments of pause. This reflection explores how rest, balance, and intentional breaks strengthen memory, creativity, emotional well-being, and long-term academic success, reminding us that pausing is not time lost, but an essential part of meaningful learning.

Each year, our Infant Years community comes together to celebrate the magic, creativity, and joy of the holiday season. This year’s Christmas presentation was a particularly meaningful one, inspired by the timeless story of The Nutcracker, a classic ballet that has captivated audiences around the world for more than a century. With its themes of courage, imagination, generosity, and the triumph of goodness. The Nutcracker offered our young learners a rich canvas through which to explore storytelling, expression, and artistic creation.

At Saint George School, we believe that learning is not only about what children know — it’s about how they come to know it. This ability to “think about thinking,” known as metacognition, helps students become aware of their learning processes, choices, and strategies.

November 1st, late at night, and I couldn't sleep. My body trembled at the thought that the next morning I would be sitting on a plane headed to Boston, having won a seat on Nord Anglia's trip to MIT through a contest. MIT, one of the most prestigious universities in science and technology! I kept wondering to myself: what was I even going to do among so many brilliant prodigies from around the globe?

At SGS, some traditions carry with them the magic of time, memory, and joy. One of those cherished traditions is our Autumn Parade — a celebration that has been part of our community for generations. In fact, many of us who are now part of the teaching team remember joyfully marching in this parade when we were students ourselves.

Our 6th Form students recently showcased their Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Exhibitions, an essential part of the IB Core. This experience allows them to investigate how knowledge connects to real-life contexts by selecting a prescribed TOK question and relating it to three significant objects.

This past October, our Performing Arts and Music Corner team had the incredible opportunity to take part in an intensive three-day Juilliard training at Colegio Menor in Quito, Ecuador — a Nord Anglia school that, like Saint George, believes deeply in the power of the arts to transform education.

Every year, the SGS community comes together to celebrate our diversity and this year was no exception! We are proud to share that our beautiful Dragon family is represented by more than 50 countries.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, our students benefit from a unique collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Sports at Saint George are not just an extracurricular activity they are a fundamental part of our students’ holistic development. Under the leadership of Head Coach Diego Gutiérrez and with the support of the teaching team composed by Keylor Mendoza, Willy Subdiaga, Santo Jaime "Leo",Edwin Gonzales, Eduardo Leyba, Margaret Guzman, Linibel De La Rosa and Michelle Polanco, this year has stood out for the unwavering commitment, excellence, and numerous achievements at both the national and school levels.
