PTA NEW COMMITTEE 2022-2024
The PTA also helps to welcome new families into the community and help to organise whole school events, in the past these have included:
- Coffee mornings
- International Day
- Festa Junina
- Halloween
- Christmas Faire
- Easter
- Children and teachers day
- Staff appreciation day
Our PTA will also get deeply involved in some projects with our students and community, in order to support our chosen charities such as:
- Secondhand uniform sale; an opportunity to our community to purchase pre-owned items, at a nominal cost, funds from which goes to support charity.
- Bake sale to support charity.
- Others found raising events throughout the year as needed.
PTA SECOND HAND UNIFORMS
Selling second-hand uniform provides a creative way for parents to pass on items they can no longer use. It can raise valuable funds as well as lessen the environmental impact of uniform production and disposal. A 2nd Hand Uniforms coordinator is responsible to manage a team who are totally engaged in helping all families get school uniform in a good condition and at a bargain price. Besides, the coordinator promotes sales events during the year, collects and organises the pieces and is always ready for the day-to-day demands. Donations are accepted all year round into the 2nd Hand drop box in the school's front desks.
