We are incredibly proud to share that our school has been shortlisted as a "Finalist for the Staff Development and Wellbeing Award" at the prestigious "British Chamber Awards 2026", after winning this award last year.

We are proud to share an important milestone in the journey of Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong. NAIS Pudong has been officially accredited by NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

On Thursday 5 December, our classrooms were once again filled with excited families as we hosted our Term 1 Showcase. This much-loved event invited parents into school to learn more about their child’s progress and to experience the vibrant learning taking place across Early Years, Primary and, for the first time, Secondary.

What an incredible night! More than 400 guests joined us on Sunday, 9 November for our Bonfire and Chinese Lantern Party at NAIS Pudong.

Primary and Secondary initiatives form a cohesive and continuous Student Leadership Pathway, designed to nurture growth, responsibility, and collaboration across all stages of school life. This unified approach ensures that leadership at our school is not a single moment or title, but an evolving journey, one that empowers every student to contribute, reflect, and lead with purpose within our shared community.

Our Welcome Back Picnic was a lovely way to ease into the new school year.

On 26 August, NAIS Pudong hosted our After School Activity Fair, bringing together students from all year groups to explore the wide range of opportunities available beyond the classroom.

Our first day of school was filled with smiles as we welcomed both new and returning children to our community. From friendly greetings and high fives at the gate to happy reunions in the classrooms, it was wonderful to see our school come alive again.

Last Friday, NAIS Pudong opened its doors for New Student Orientation Day - a special event to welcome new families into the school community.

This week our teachers have been back on campus, attending training sessions, preparing engaging lessons, and setting up warm and welcoming classrooms for our students. The energy and teamwork have been inspiring as we work together to create the best possible start to the school year.

At NAIS Pudong, we strive to achieve our values, one element of which is building confidence in our students to help them better prepare for life after education.  But what about building the confidence to question one’s approach and strategy in tacking tasks or ideas?
