Our students can take part in more than 25 different sports, ranging from tag rugby, Gaelic football and gymnastics to swimming, wall climbing and kayaking. These sports are either part of our curriculum or after-school activities. We also run regular inter-school competitions at break or lunch times, including NBA basketball championships, archery competitions, World Cup football tournaments, dodgeball, and cricket competitions.

In PE lessons, students learn in a structured and organised way, developing vital skills in the process. Their successes are celebrated throughout the year.

We offer the following sports:

  • Football - students from Year 1-6 participate in cross-campus activities as well as fixtures against other schools. Extra-curricular training is also offered to students from Nursery to Year 6.
  • Tennis - students in Year 4-6 take part in our annual tennis tournament, which is held between ISM Rosinka and ISM Krylatskoe.

  • Swimming - regular swimming galas are held throughout the year as both cross-campus and inter-school events. Students have the opportunity to swim from November until April.

  • Wall climbing - during the summer months, students can climb in PE lessons, at after-school activities, and at break times.
  • Kayaking - kayaking takes place on our stunning lake during the warmer months. We are also fortunate enough to be able to use SUP boards during any lake activities.

  • Gymnastics - our main focus is on the development of balance and movement skills.

  • Athletics - students from all year groups take part in athletic activity, where we focus on running, jumping, and throwing for distance, speed or height.
  • Archery - students from Year 3-6 take part in archery lessons in a safe environment under expert supervision.

  • Basketball - children in Years 3-6 take part in basketball lessons in the curriculum, as well as competing in inter-campus fixtures.

  • Dance - children in all years take a series of dance classes, which promote creative and expressive movement.

  • Biking - as part of our outdoor education programme, pupils from Years 4-6 take part in both road safety classes and mountain biking.
