On Tuesday the 18th of December, St. Andrew’s Church once again hosted the ISM Krylatskoe Upper Campus Christmas Concert. The church was packed to the rafters and festive cheer was augmented with mince pies and other yuletide sustenance.

With Christmas just around the corner, it was time for our annual Swimming Showcase events. Each event began with a short lesson to give parents a glimpse of coaching techniques and training.

On the 8th of December, Deutsche Schule Moskau hosted the 8th MISAS Basketball Tournament and ISM was invited to compete against other international schools. As always, the competition was fierce……..

Tuesday the 4th and Wednesday the 5th of December were the dates for ISM’s annual production at The Rublevo Theatre. This year, it was the heartwarming, Christmas-relevant, Broadway record breaker ‘Annie’. Deemed to be one of the biggest events on the school calendar, it was important that the cast and crew delivered in an ambitious fashion.

Another exciting football tournament has recently taken place with teams from different schools converging on Brookes Moscow for a soccer showdown. The competition was indeed fierce, heated and full of moments to remember. However, there can only be one winner!

In 2017, ISM students demonstrated illustrious mathematics results, emerging victorious in the worldwide COBIS Manga High Mathematics Challenge competition. 2018 brought new exciting maths challenges and fierce competition from other international schools, longing to make our crown their own. Experiential learning empowers children in a way that guided, dependant work does not. Children are able to pursue their own areas of interest and solve problems as they occur. Their learning becomes relative to their own interests and thus, can produce higher levels of focus and concentration.

ISM Secondary students proudly present their rendition of a classic story. Come and see the poignant and beautiful tale of ‘Annie’ - a tale of bravery, perseverance and, most importantly, belief.

An evening like no other took place at UC Krylatskoe on the 22nd of November. The hall swiftly transformed into a breathtaking environment, imbued with Russian culture and spirit.

Number 17, Cherry Tree Lane; a middle-class and really quite proper residence in post-Victorian London was the scene for this year’s Year Five Production. Following a carousel of unsuccessful nannies for the mischievous Banks children who reside there, a final desperate advertisement draws the expertise of Mary Poppins, a mysterious and enchanting young woman.

On Friday the 16th of November, students, teachers and parents from all four ISM campuses took part in the 5th biennial Music Marathon in aid of HeartforMelisa.com and Diemas Dream.
