We’ve had a busy start to the school year in the PE and sports department, including the relaunch of the ISM Lions! Read our article to learn more about what kinds of sports we have been doing this Term so far.

Lower Primary’s first ever Autumn Football Cup was an exhilarating spectacle.

On the 14th and 15th of June, students at Krylatskoe Lower Campus took part in exciting Sports Day events.

On the 17th of June, Upper Primary students at Krylatskoe Lower Campus were in high spirits for the 2021 Upper Primary Sports Day.

On Monday the 10th February, Rosinka hosted our annual tennis tournament. This year we invited Brookes Moscow giving our students some extra competition alongside our own Krylatskoe and Rosinka campuses.

ISM Lions won the overall team trophy at the BSN Games held at the British School in the Netherlands.

Our Annual Family Charity Fun was held at Krylatskoe Lower Campus in aid of Melisa Erdem. Our brave students and wonderful families put in an outstanding effort to show off their fitness and determination to raise money.

The International School of Moscow celebrated their annual Cross Campus Swimming Gala on Thursday 16th May 2019. Those who took part demonstrated a wealth of skill, determination and hard work.

With Christmas just around the corner, it was time for our annual Swimming Showcase events. Each event began with a short lesson to give parents a glimpse of coaching techniques and training.

On the 8th of December, Deutsche Schule Moskau hosted the 8th MISAS Basketball Tournament and ISM was invited to compete against other international schools. As always, the competition was fierce……..

Four houses competing against each other, but there could be only only one winner. The will for victory was tangible on the afternoon of the Inter-House Basketball Tournament.

Another exciting football tournament has recently taken place with teams from different schools converging on Brookes Moscow for a soccer showdown. The competition was indeed fierce, heated and full of moments to remember. However, there can only be one winner!

Experiential learning empowers children in a way that guided, dependant work does not. Children are able to pursue their own areas of interest and solve problems as they occur. Their learning becomes relative to their own interests and thus, can produce higher levels of focus and concentration.
