Our 8^th grade students were tasked with identifying fake news for their Civics and Ethics class. They designed fun and clever characters that could detect one of the tell-tale signs of news that are fake or taken out of context. With these kinds of activities, we want our children to develop critical thinking that helps them identify reliable sources when doing research.
