On Saturday 10th April our KS5 band ‘The Darrows’ took part in a fantastic Battle of the Bands competition involving 6 international schools in HCMC.

Congratulations to Dang Nhat Lam (Bella), our Year 6 student at BVIS for successfully qualifying for the Global Round at the World Scholar’s Cup 2021!

On Tuesday we hosted the ‘Primary Speech and Poetry Competition Final’ with 14 finalists ranging from Year 3 to Year 6. Year 3 and 4 children focused on poetry recitals and Year 5 and 6 students focused on their own creative and innovative speeches. The evening was filled with talent and left the whole audience simply amazed by the children’s efforts and abilities to speak so confidently and eloquently.

Why are real-world events so important to STEAM education?

The BVIS Upcycle Project has been created by BVIS HCMC’s teachers and students with the aims of reducing the uniform waste each year, raising awareness toward environment protection and inspiring our community to creatively take the action.

We at BVIS strive to support our students in becoming well rounded individuals, which includes looking after their academic, physical and mental well-being.

We are delighted to introduce our enthusiastic members of Primary and Secondary Students Council in the academic year 2020-2021!

We are pleased to announce that Mrs Mary McAloon has recently joined as Head of Primary at BVIS HCMC starting from the 2020-2021 academic year.

Four more universities in Việt Nam have been recognised with a Cambridge International A Level qualification, proving the increasing reliability of the qualification in Viet Nam.

On Saturday 13th June 2020, our Year 13 students came together with their families, teachers, and special guests to celebrate their Graduation Event. The ceremony was filled with pride and joy as it marked a great milestone in our students’ challenging and learning focused journey at school.

At BVIS, we fully understand that a truly global citizen needs to have the right knowledge, skills and global perspective. At the same time, they also need to be absorbed within their country’s culture and traditions to succeed in life and make positive contributions to the outside world.

Since the very beginning, BVIS HCMC has shaped and developed a unique educational mission of Global Citizens – Vietnamese Perspective with the aim of nurturing a young, talented, ambitious generation who thrive within a globalisation environment without losing sight of who they are and where they come from.

As our Class of 2020 are reaching the end of their educational journey at BVIS HCMC, we are delighted to announce their exciting upcoming destinations in life.
