Our U15 FOBISIA squad competed at Pattana Resort, Thailand, from November 25–28. Joining forces with Garden International School, Rayong, the team achieved 2nd place in Athletics and 3rd in Swimming.

Twelve Secondary students from the British Vietnamese International School (BVIS) Ho Chi Minh City have been awarded Outstanding Learner Awards by Cambridge and Pearson, based on their results in the international examinations for the 2024–2025 academic year.

On 30 September 2025, BVIS HCMC proudly hosted the 2025 Global University Fair, welcoming representatives from nearly 200 prestigious universities across 20 countries including the UK, USA, Australia, and France.

On Saturday 15th March, BVIS proudly hosted the Senior Level World Mathematics Competition, bringing together 92 talented mathematicians from 11 schools across Vietnam and beyond.

TEDxYouth BVIS HCMC was the largest event ever successfully organised by the BVIS Secondary Student Council.

The U13 FOBISIA Games competition in Thailand at the end of February was a memorable and proud journey for the young sports talents of BVIS. They competed with full dedication, overcame challenges, and achieved outstanding results.

Recently, we had the opportunity to connect with Nhật Minh, an alumnus from the Class of 2023, who is currently pursuing a Specialized Business major at New York University (NYU) with a scholarship worth over $165,000 (nearly 4 billion VND).

The FOBISIA Art Competition 2025 is a great opportunity for students from British international schools across Asia to showcase their creativity under the theme "The Green Planet on Canvas: Youthful Strokes for a Sustainable Tomorrow."

This past weekend, our Y13 Biology students embarked on an unforgettable expedition to Cat Tien National Park, immersing themselves in Vietnam’s rich biodiversity and conservation efforts.

Our annual Tet Assembly is not only an opportunity for Secondary students to understand and appreciate the cultural values of our country, but also a reflection of BVIS's ongoing efforts to preserve and spread the Vietnamese identity.

Leaving behind the warm weather of Saigon, our Year 9 and 10 students of BVIS, along with Mr. Twemlow, Computer Science teacher, embarked on a skiing trip and winter exploration in Japan.

Recently, we had the opportunity to reconnect with Khanh Giang, Class of 2023 alumna, who is currently pursuing a double major in Data Science and Finance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison), ranked 56th in the 2025 World University Rankings by The Times Higher Education.

Following the success of the event for Upper Primary, this year’s Secondary Sports Day took place on Wednesday, 11th December 2024, at District 8 Stadium. It was an intense and exciting playground for BVIS students, filled with vibrant energy and determination!
