BISS Lions Boys D2 Volleyball Season Ends

On Saturday 28 October, the team competed in the SISAC Volleyball Plate Tournament at Dulwich College Shanghai, Pudong. The BISS Lions lost their first match 2-1 against Boston School Nanjing.

After a revitalising pep talk, the players played incredibly efficient volleyball in the second match and defeated DCS Px 2-1. Unfortunately, the D2 Boys demonstrated less consistency in the third match against SMIC who got off a quick lead in the first set. The Lions tried to rally in the second and third sets, but the comeback bid fell short in a 2-1 loss.

The players had a positive experience playing against tough competition within the season and learned that they can always strive to play their best, regardless of whether they win or lose.

The SISAC Volleyball season has come to an end. However, the players who wish to continue developing their skills can join the BISCAP Volleyball Programme led by Coach Fu on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
