Saigon South International School Relays

On Saturday 28th September the Barracudas Swimming Team participated in the Saigon South International School Swim Meet.

We had a total of 118 students participate in a range of relays including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and the medley relay.

This event was a friendly meet and allowed the students to participate as a team and refine their relay skills. BIS produced outstanding results and achieved 5 New School Records;

• 9 – 10 Girls Freestyle Relay (2.31.99): Kim Ly Doan, SeungBie Kim, Myla Norriss, Sao Mai Pham
• 13 – 14 Girls Medley Relay (2.40.12): Quynh An Tran, Srishty Patnaik, Caitlin Chua, Amber Tran
• 13 – 14 Girls Freestyle Relay (2.23.69): Quynh An Tran, Srishty Patnaik, Caitlin Chua, Amber Tran
• 13 – 14 Boys Freestyle Relay (1.52.77): Andrew Vu, Khoa Tran, Ryo Sarashina, Ryan Lower
• 13 – 14 Boys Medley Relay (2.04.64): Andrew Vu, Khoa Tran, Ryo Sarashina, Matheo Luong

The meet consisted of 24 events, BIS placed 1^st in 17 of the events. We had a total of 16 Gold, 6 Silver and 8 Bronze. It was an outstanding meet and the Barracudas performed with a high standard of excellence and team work. Well done Barracudas.
