Principal's Weekly Update (8 December 2023)

Dear Parents,

I hope you have all had a good week and are beginning to get into the festive spirit ahead of the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon for our very first BIS Christmas Fair. What a great mix of people, songs, performances, food, drink, and activities! We hope you enjoyed it.

This week we have welcomed our Year 13 parents for an update from teachers on the progress of the students in the lead up to their final exams later in the year. We also had our first ever CCA Parent Connect session for both primary and secondary parents. We hope you enjoyed coming in and seeing the amazing range of enrichment activities being offered to your children outside of lessons.

BIS Hanoi Parent's Evening

Our Years 8, 10, and 11s had the opportunity to go and see a live showing of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet at the Hanoi Opera House. It is so great to see live theatre in action.

Coming Up

CCA’s finish on Saturday, December 9th, for Block 1.
F1, 2, 3, and Year 1 Christmas Performances: Tuesday, 12th, and Wednesday, 13th, in the morning.
Final Day of School for Term 1: Friday, December 15th School finishes at 12:25 for all.
