On Wednesday, Ms Naomi Skinner, a Primary teacher from our sister BIS school in Ho Chi Minh City, did a presentation to the Primary students about her 2,200km charity run from Hanoi all the way to Ho Chi Minh City. All the funds raised from the run will go directly to charities that support vulnerable Vietnamese children.

The Friends of BIS parents’ group enjoyed a visit to the Tam Dao Bear Sanctuary on Monday this week. The parents gained a better knowledge and understanding of the sanctuary’s facilities, the Community service programmes that are open to BIS students and, most importantly, the issues surrounding bear bile farming and what Tam Dao are doing to try and stop it.
