On 23 May, the British International School Hanoi community came together to celebrate a significant milestone for the Class of 2026.

We're proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Hye Yun (Year 9) in this year’s Global Campus Art Competition.

Ten of our students from Primary and Secondary were selected for the Global Campus Virtual Young Musician of the Year Competition, with Anh Quân (Year 12) named a category winner for his composition Danse de trop.

Two BIS Hanoi students have been long‑listed in the Global Campus Visual Arts Showcase 2025, themed “Nature’s Wonders”. This recognition marks a wonderful achievement and a proud moment for our school community.

Minh Huy, a BIS Hanoi Year 10 student, has earned his place at the VEX Robotics World Championship 2026 after an exceptional year of competitions across Vietnam and Asia.

BIS Hanoi have received funding from Nord Anglia’s community investment fund to support two student-led social impact projects called “Hope Thread” and “The PatchWork Project”.

BIS Hanoi’s Class of 2025 is off to an impressive start in their university application journey, securing over 70 offers from top institutions worldwide.

At the beginning of October 2024, the British International School (BIS) Hanoi proudly supported some of our brightest mathematicians from the Secondary school as they participated in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge (UKMT SMC).

After months of hard work and dedication, the 2024 BISMUN Conference was a resounding success.

BIS Hanoi student Pham Bui Gia Khanh, currently in Year 12, recently had the honour to attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Summit of the Future Action Days. This event gathered young leaders from around the globe to engage with policymakers and discuss pressing global issues.

On August 9th and 10th, led by Pham Bui Gia Khanh, Nguyen Khanh Linh, and Hoang Thai Anh (now in Year 12 at BIS Hanoi), the Chalk Road project team, consisting of 23 members who are high school students from BIS Hanoi and various schools in the city, successfully organised a series of extracurricular activities with the theme "Connect to Empower" for 1,400 students at Thanh Kim Primary and Secondary School in Thanh Hoa Province.

New round of funding from Nord Anglia Education supports our students’ efforts to take actions on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Congratulations to Gia Khanh, an outstanding member in Year 11, for her literary analysis published in The Schola, an academic journal for international students.

Saturday, December 9th marked a momentous achievement for BIS Hanoi as they successfully defended gold medal at the annual Hanoi Mathematics Olympiad.

Out of 150 participating delegates, we are delighted to share that three Year 11 students from BIS Hanoi were among those who received the FOBISIA MUN awards

Pham Bui Gia Khanh, a remarkable student from Year 11, has once again demonstrated her exceptional abilities by earning a High Distinction in the senior category of the prestigious 2023 John Locke global essay competition in Philosophy. 

In July, Pham Bui Gia Khanh (Year 11) with other Year 11s, Nguyen Khanh Linh, and Hoang Thai Anh launched their first activity of Chalk Road project, a student-led project dedicated to fostering holistic and sustainable education.
