On 23 May, the British International School Hanoi community came together to celebrate a significant milestone for the Class of 2026.

Supported by Nord Anglia Education’s Social Impact Grants, projects such as Hope Thread and The PatchWork Project focus on wellbeing, inclusion, and creating opportunities for young people to connect and grow.

Minh Huy, a BIS Hanoi Year 10 student, has earned his place at the VEX Robotics World Championship 2026 after an exceptional year of competitions across Vietnam and Asia.

BIS Hanoi have received funding from Nord Anglia’s community investment fund to support two student-led social impact projects called “Hope Thread” and “The PatchWork Project”.

This term, students from Years 7 to 13 at BIS Hanoi embarked on a series of enriching residential trips across Vietnam. Each journey was designed to foster personal growth, cultural understanding, and a spirit of adventure.

Options Evening marked a significant milestone in each student's educational journey, as they began to shape the next stage of their learning in the IGCSE program for Years 10-11 and the IB Diploma and BIS Diploma programmes for Years 12-13.

BIS Hanoi’s Class of 2025 is off to an impressive start in their university application journey, securing over 70 offers from top institutions worldwide.

At the beginning of October 2024, the British International School (BIS) Hanoi proudly supported some of our brightest mathematicians from the Secondary school as they participated in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge (UKMT SMC).

Last weekend, a group of intrepid students embarked on a Duke of Edinburgh Adventurous Journey that took them deep into the captivating landscapes of Mai Chau, Vietnam.

On September 12th, the British International School Hanoi successfully organised the highly anticipated Hanoi University Fair, with representatives from more than 150 universities worldwide in attendance.

This year’s results have been outstanding, with 45% of our students earning grades of A* to A and 86% achieving grades from A* to C.

Students studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) at the British International School (BIS) Hanoi in 2024 have once again performed significantly above the global average.

Our Year 7 students eagerly embraced the STEAM fair, combining their knowledge from Science, Art, and Design Technology classes to tackle the challenge set by MIT.

His outstanding performance in these competitions has brought immense pride to the BIS Hanoi community. The results of his hard work and dedication were truly remarkable.

Saturday, December 9th marked a momentous achievement for BIS Hanoi as they successfully defended gold medal at the annual Hanoi Mathematics Olympiad.

This week, our school joined millions of people around the world in celebrating World Children's Day.

We're pleased to say that our school will be welcoming a team of seven evaluators from the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) next week.

As we approach the end of Term 1, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we have experienced together.

Next week, from Tuesday to Friday, our year-level residential trips occur for Years 7 to 12, embarking on exciting and enriching expeditions through Vietnam.
