This term, students from Years 7 to 13 at BIS Hanoi embarked on a series of enriching residential trips across Vietnam. Each journey was designed to foster personal growth, cultural understanding, and a spirit of adventure.

The team, established earlier this month, aims to raise awareness of safeguarding and child protection by empowering students to recognise potential concerns and know how to refer and report them.

Our Secondary Students participated in a range of interactive activities and lessons aimed at developing their skills and awareness in navigating the digital world responsibly and effectively.

At every stage of their Secondary education, students at BIS Hanoi are empowered to “Create their future”  by learning essential, transferable skills as part of a bespoke curriculum.

Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is one of the three essential core elements that every student must complete as part of their International Baccalaureate (IB) and BIS Diploma.

In an ever changing, digital world, it’s more important than ever to keep up to date with emerging technology. With this in mind, the Computer Science department is constantly reviewing and updating their curriculum from KS3 through to IB to ensure that our students are equipped with the necessary skills for life beyond school.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma is a rich, rigorous and rewarding programme which our students embark on at the start of Year 12. It has been designed to prepare learners for the multi-disciplinary workplaces of the future.

If there is something that we have all learnt from 2020 so far, it is that there is a need as individuals to be able to respond and adapt to a rapidly changing context. We in fact know, that this isn’t exclusive to periods of global pandemics, but that world-wide we are in a period of time where technological development is moving forward at a rapid pace.
