Festival Details

Students will discover their artistic potential through engaging workshops in the performing arts led by experienced industry professionals. Designed for participants of all ages and experience levels, these classes provide personalized instruction in a supportive and inspiring environment. Whether exploring a new passion or refining your craft, students will build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and performance skills while connecting with peers from 27 Nord Anglia Education schools across The Americas Region. Join a vibrant community of young artists and take the next step in your artistic journey.

Our Performing Arts Festival will focus on the following workshops: 

Dance 

Explore your passion for dance through workshops in hip hop, ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, and more led by experienced teaching artists and industry professionals. Each session focuses on technique, artistry, creativity, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Whether refining your skills or trying a new style, students will grow as dancers while connecting with others who share their love of movement. 

Musical Theatre 

Discover the excitement of becoming a triple-threat performer through workshops in character development, vocal performance, choreography, and scene work. Students will strengthen their storytelling abilities while learning what it takes to create memorable performances. From Broadway classics to contemporary Disney musicals, these sessions encourage creativity, collaboration, and artistic growth. 

Voice 

Find your voice through vocal and choir workshops focused on healthy singing techniques, musicianship, vocal expression, and ensemble performance. Students will explore a variety of musical styles while developing confidence, blend, harmony, and performance skills in a collaborative setting. 

Theatre 

Explore the craft of acting through workshops featuring scene study, monologues, improvisation, ensemble building, and character exploration. Students will strengthen communication, storytelling, and creative thinking skills while developing the confidence to bring characters to life on stage. 

Technical Theatre 

Step behind the scenes to discover the artistry of technical theatre through hands-on workshops in scenic painting, costume design, and backstage production. Students will explore the essential roles that bring performances to life while developing creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. 

Piano 

Discover the joy of making music through piano workshops that strengthen keyboard skills, musical interpretation, and creative expression. Students will collaborate through duets and interactive activities while exploring a variety of musical genres in an engaging and supportive environment. 

Instrumentalists 

Elevate your musicianship through workshops focused on sectionals, sight-reading, ensemble performance, and instrumental technique. Students will strengthen musical accuracy, listening skills, and expressive interpretation while gaining valuable performance experience alongside fellow musicians. 

Small Ensembles 

Strengthen your musicianship in small ensemble settings where performers work together to shape phrasing, dynamics, and interpretation across styles ranging from jazz to rock. Focused rehearsals emphasize communication and collaboration while preparing repertoire for live performance opportunities. 

Drumline 

Experience the energy and precision of drumline through workshops focused on rhythmic accuracy, marching technique, and ensemble timing. Students will develop performance discipline, coordination, and stamina while showcasing the power and artistry of percussion performance. 

Disney Imagination Campus Experience 

As part of the Performing Arts Festival, students will participate in an exclusive Disney Imagination Campus workshop tailored to their chosen discipline. Led by Disney professionals, these immersive experiences provide students with the opportunity to explore the creativity, collaboration, and performance techniques used by world-class entertainers while gaining valuable insight into the artistry behind Disney's renowned entertainment experiences.

Windermere Preparatory School, located on a scenic 48-acre campus on the shores of Cypress in Windermere, Florida, provides an exceptional setting for aspiring performers. With a professional-grade theatre, fully equipped dance studios, and dedicated music rooms, students have access to the tools and spaces they need to develop their talents. Whether exploring musical theatre, orchestra, choir, or dance, these state-of-the-art performing arts facilities support creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression in a dynamic and inspiring environment.

Disney Imagination Campus is an educational initiative by Disney that provides immersive, hands-on learning experiences for young performers and artists. Through workshops led by Disney professionals, students explore the real-world application of performance, storytelling, creativity, and collaboration within Disney’s world-renowned entertainment environment. Surrounded by the magic of live performance and imaginative storytelling, students are encouraged to build confidence, express themselves creatively, and bring their artistry to life.
