Last week St. Andrews High School students celebrated High School Book Week by participating in fun book-themed activities hosted by the St. Andrews English Department.

St. Andrews International School Bangkok recently installed a Sensory Room where our children are free to explore and develop their senses and skills, or simply relax and unwind for a while.

Year 4 children enjoyed a fantastic Ancient Egypt-themed curriculum enrichment day last week.

This week our Foundation Stage and Primary students were entertained, inspired and rib-tickled by the wonderfully talented visiting storyteller, poet and author Clive Pig.

We are very excited to announce that on 20th November 2016, St. Andrews will host our first ever TEDx event. Reflecting the rapid changes currently taking place around the world, the TEDx Committee of Year 12 and 13 students has chosen the theme "A Step in a New Direction."

As part of the Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Programme, St. Andrews music teachers and students will welcome The Juilliard School's Kathryn Andersen on Tuesday 4th October.

St. Andrews students have once again achieved strong results in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, a rigorous and challenging two-year education programme for students age 16-19.

Our new Srivikorn Campus where the High School will move to in August 2017 is on schedule and conveniently located in close proximity to Ekamai BTS Station (237m) and Phra Khanong BTS Station (322m). The new campus will consist of 3 main buildings incorporating state-of-the-art technology facilities, sports facilities, performing arts theatre, and classrooms etc.

The Art Department is excited to invite you all to this year's Year 13 Visual Arts Exhibition at HOF ART Residency in W District. We hope many of you will join us to celebrate the fantastic work that will be on display from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, 24th March.

Visiting author Stan Cullimore is in school for three days working with the Primary children during Book Week. Stan started off as a musician, playing guitar and singing in a band (The Housemartins) that sold millions of records around the world. He has also written several well-­known children’s books including Killer Sharks, Super Teacher, and Bubble Attack.

Don't miss the Key Stage 2 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! The performances promise be a real spectacle, highlighting the talents of the actors and musicians and demonstrating just how much hard work our students and teachers involved have put into the show. Book your tickets now!

The Marlins Mayhem Swim Meet will be on Saturday, 26th and Sunday, 27th March with the first race starting at 8:00am. We anticipate that this year's swim meet will be bigger and better than ever before! The two-day event will have a huge number of swimmers and several schools and swim clubs from around Bangkok taking part. So come out and support the swimmers as they compete in this prestigious event.

We were very pleased to recently receive the final CfBT/BSO Inspection Reports, which confirm that the inspection team found us to be an 'Outstanding' school, both overall and for each of the evaluated criteria. We are all very proud of these very positive comments, and looking forward to continuing to work to make St. Andrews even better than Outstanding in the future.
