Last weekend, seven of our Northbridge International School Cambodia Nagas swimmers traveled to Kuala Lumpur to participate at the British International School of Kuala Lumpur Nord Anglia Education Friendly Swim Meet.

The Northbridge International School Cambodia community joined students, teachers, mathematicians, and math lovers around the world to celebrate Pi Day, on March 14th 2019. Pi Day, is celebrated on the 14th day of March every year to pay homage to the mathematical constant Pi (π), which is approximately equal to 3.14. This constant is also first introduced to many students at Northbridge as they start MYP, in Grade 6.

As many of you will know from our recent Northbridge International School Cambodia parent coffee mornings, we have a team of four educational professionals who will visit our school next week (10-14 March 2019) as part of our ACS WASC Accreditation process.

One of the transdisciplinary themes that all Grades at Northbridge International School Cambodia inquire into each year is named How We Express Ourselves. It is defined by the IB as, “An exploration of the way which we discover and express our nature, ideas, feelings, beliefs, and values through language and the arts.”

This past weekend the Northbridge International School Cambodia Junior Football teams went to Hanoi to compete in the VinSchool Times City ASAC tournament. The boys and girls teams competed against Concordia, VinSchool, Wells and ISHCMC.

Northbridge International School Cambodia would like to announce that Head of Secondary Mr Ben Holman will be moving to a new post within our Nord Anglia Education family of schools from the beginning of next academic year.

Senior Basketball ASAC was hosted at Northbridge International School Cambodia from 15-17 February 2019. In this tournament we were able to showcase both of our Senior A teams as well as our Boys B team. The weekend brought visitors from Wells, Logos, CIA, ISHCMC and VinSchool to Northbridge for the tournament.

On 9 February the senior Nagas basketball teams competed in the ISSAPP finals at Northbridge International School Cambodia.

Northbridge International School Cambodia is proud to launch the new Northbridge Partnership Programme, which offers our community, including students, parents, family and staff, a range of discounts and promotions at a variety of businesses throughout Phnom Penh.

Here at Northbridge International School Cambodia, semester two of LEAP has got off to a great start with over 50 activities being offered for both students and parents. We are proud to offer a variety of clubs such as gardening, board games and clay art in a safe and supportive environment. The activities are provided by mixture of staff members and external providers.

Grade 12 Northbridge International School Cambodia students, with the guidance of teachers from the Science department, visited Kep National Park in January and carried out different investigations about the variables that describe the forest.
