On Monday 18 November, as part of the collaboration between Nord Anglia Education and the Juilliard School in New York, Northbridge International School Cambodia welcomed visiting Juilliard Alumni musicians Jeremy Noller (drums) and Jeffrey Holbrook (trumpet) and Juilliard Curriculum specialists Aurea Tomeski (drama) and Hilary Easton (dance).

In early November, six Northbridge International School Cambodia students from Grades 5 to 7 travelled to one of our sister Nord Anglia Education schools in Thailand, Regents International School Pattaya, to participate in the annual Nord Anglia STEAM Festival South East Asia & Middle East.

As our Northbridge International School Cambodia MYP Math students in Grades 9 and 10 prepare to transition into the Diploma Programme in a year or two, students are exposed to real world problems and are asked to use mathematical modeling techniques to predict and solve these problems.

On Friday November 8, 2019 the Secondary Staff at Northbridge International School Cambodia partook in a Personal Development (PD) training focussed on inclusive practices and learning about teaching strategies to integrate a sustainable differentiation teaching model within the everyday classrooms.

The personal project at Northbridge International School Cambodia is a culminating Middle Years Programme (MYP) project to develop individual Grade 10 students personal interests and to show and apply the skills, which are developed through the MYP’s Approaches to Learning.

The first season of Nagas sport is nearly finished, and over the last few weekends our Northbridge International School Cambodia teams have come out with some top performances.

In August 2019, Northbridge International School Cambodia started an initiative to provide a continued holistic approach to our student’s education.

We all have good days and bad days at Northbridge International School Cambodia. Good moments and bad moments throughout your day. Over time, we adults have developed appropriate strategies to help us get over this disappointment and deal with the loss. You might choose to listen to music, go for a walk, do yoga, eat chocolate or a variety of other strategies.

If I’m asked “How do I improve my English?” or “What’s the best way to help my child get better at English?” at Northbridge International School Cambodia, my answer will almost always be READ. Reading is arguably one of the most effective ways to increase language proficiency across the board, whether it’s English or another language you’re learning.

We are proud to announce that Northbridge International School Cambodia will be developing a new world-class Aquatics Centre that will be the centre of our Nagas swim programme. The grand opening is set for August 2020.
