I am not a football fanatic but I do like watching football games and occasionally playing at Northbridge International School Cambodia. The game is split into two halves and usually each half is pretty similar to each other, though one team may have different strengths than another. Occasionally though each half is completely different and a team may be winning 3 - 0 and then the other team comes on in the second half and wins 3 - 4.

Within PYP an inclusive philosophy is advocated and the class teacher is responsible for understanding the needs of each individual and catering to their learning styles within their class. There are times when students may experience barriers to learning. At Northbridge International School Cambodia we endeavour to provide programmes that enable individual students to reach their full potential.

After many months of waiting, our Northbridge International School Cambodia Aquatics Centre is finally ready. We are very excited for the opportunities that will be provided by having a state-of-the-art centre for both competitions as well as swimming lessons.

Theory of Knowledge (TOK) is a class at Northbridge International School Cambodia that challenges the students to explore the intellectual strength of the foundation underlying their own knowledge. For many this is a challenging task as their education up to this point has been based on receiving knowledge from their teachers in school, their family and through their own experiences outside of school.

Reading is a key component of learning for our Northbridge International School Cambodia Primary students. In school, and during virtual learning, children practise their reading skills daily. But why is a daily reading routine important and what can parents do to support their children through the Virtual School Experience (VSE)?

Every step on your child’s learning journey at Northbridge International School Cambodia helps to shape their aspirations for what they might do in future. Each subject they explore, MIT professor they meet through Global Campus, expedition they go on to visit new cultures and communities - it all feeds into their ever expanding view of the world and their place in it.

Due to the current pandemic, almost every conference platform has been transformed into a virtual format. Northbridge International School Cambodia has taken an important decision in organizing an online NISC MUN 2021. Proudly speaking, we were the first and only school in Cambodia conducting the conference virtually and internationally.

Action Learning Camps (ALC) are an annual event at Northbridge International School Cambodia. Secondary students have the opportunity to step outside of the classroom and develop a wide range of skills, trying new activities and forging deeper bonds with their peers and teachers.

It has been a busy few months in Individuals & Societies at Northbridge International School Cambodia and here we are to share some of the highlights with you all.

For all of our students at Northbridge International School Cambodia our university counsellor plays a key part in helping them to understand and successfully navigate the pathway to their university of choice. Taking the step from IB Diploma to university is an exciting challenge for students, but there are many big decisions which sit between these two milestones. It is the role of the university counsellor to provide support and guidance to students so that these decisions are informed, manageable, and ultimately lead our students to securing a place at a university which suits their ambitions for the future.
