By Julie Allen  University and Career Counselor Over the summer, students in our current Grade 12 classes have been exceptionally busy preparing for their university applications. Many participated in internships and additional summer programs to boost their chances of success.

At Northbridge International School Cambodia here in Phnom Penh, our Head Students, who also act as the Presidents of the Student Council (STUCO), hold significant responsibilities that directly impact our school life. They represent both the students and the school at various events and lead STUCO, acting as the face of the school and as the crucial link between the student body and the school's leadership team.

We recently held our annual IBDP Visual Arts exhibition here at Northbridge International School Cambodia. Grade 12 students displayed the work they have been diligently producing over the course of the diploma programme in the Auditorium.

Recently, Northbridge International School Cambodia Grade 10 students presented the outcome of their learning journeys at the Middle Years Programme (MYP) Personal Project showcase event. The event is a significant marker in the education of all MYP students as they draw on the knowledge and skills gained throughout the five-year program with an eye on the next step in their journey - the Diploma Programme (DP).

University application season is in full swing at Northbridge International School Cambodia. Having passed the United Kingdom's January 31st UCAS deadline, our students submitted 180 applications spanning 36 students to top institutions across the U.K.

On the 12th of July, this recent summer, two Northbridge International School Cambodia students embarked on a 22-hour journey from Phnom Penh to Seoul before finally arriving in New York City to attend the first in-person Nord Anglia-UNICEF Summit since the pandemic.
