Their hard work and determination show that even young students can create meaningful change, providing children with access to education, clean water, and hope for a brighter future.

Tejeda, a standout at North Broward Prep, was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 14th round, 410th overall. During his high school career, he dominated the mound with a perfect 15-0 record and showcased his offensive prowess, hitting .355 with four home runs and 30 RBIs as a senior. Despite being picked in the 19th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tejeda chose to play his first year of college ball at the University of Florida, continuing to impress with his exceptional talent and dedication to the game.

Honorable Mentions receive $500 and a plaque, funded by the Blank Family Foundation.
