On Monday, September 23, North Broward Preparatory School proudly hosted its 2nd Annual International Baccalaureate (IB) Pinning Ceremony, a special occasion celebrating 18 exceptional seniors who have reached the halfway point of their IB Diploma Programme journey. Among these remarkable students was Senior Camila Palladino, who delivered an inspiring speech that highlighted her personal and academic growth within the program.

North Broward Preparatory School (NBPS) is thrilled to announce a remarkable milestone: for the fourth consecutive year, our senior class has achieved a 100% pass rate in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program. This outstanding achievement underscores the dedication of our students and faculty and highlights the rigorous academic environment, which prepares students for higher education and beyond. 

Tejeda, a standout at North Broward Prep, was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 14th round, 410th overall. During his high school career, he dominated the mound with a perfect 15-0 record and showcased his offensive prowess, hitting .355 with four home runs and 30 RBIs as a senior. Despite being picked in the 19th round by the Pittsburgh Pirates, Tejeda chose to play his first year of college ball at the University of Florida, continuing to impress with his exceptional talent and dedication to the game. 

Incoming Junior Anna Toledano and Senior Inayaa Kazi from North Broward Preparatory School recently attended the Nord Anglia Education-UNICEF Student Summit. This event, hosted by The Village School and the British International School of Houston, gathered over 120 Nord Anglia students globally to explore implementing the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within their communities.

North Broward Preparatory School drafted three teammates Caedyn Jynella (5) and his brothers, Gavin (9) and Keenan (6), as the newest honorary Varsity Lacrosse team members.

Lila Drowos, incoming eighth grade student at North Broward Prep, released her novel ‘Carl’s Side’ which is a fantasy adventure about the search for family.

Save the date for the 2020 NB – ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB GOLF TOURNAMENT. Join us at Deer Creek Golf Club (Deerfield) on Friday, April 17th for a day of golf, games, raffles, music and guaranteed fun!

Through work in their homerooms, 2nd grade students designed superheroes to fight problems like pollution, housing, and clean energy. During their STEAM class, students then worked in teams of three to combine the best parts of their superheroes to create a new superhero, capable of tackling a Global Goal and making a difference in the world.

Our "Move-Up Coffee" Series takes place in the next few weeks. The Move-Up Coffee meetings allow parents to preview the curriculum and program their children will study for the upcoming school year.
