On 20th November, NAS Jakarta marked World Children’s Day, a special occasion that recognises the rights of children and their power to create positive change. This day is celebrated across the Nord Anglia Education family in collaboration with UNICEF, with schools engaging in a variety of activities from wearing blue, the colour of UNICEF, to children taking on the roles of adults and fundraising for local organisations or UNICEF initiatives.

ENQUIRE NOWAt NAS Jakarta, our celebrations included students wearing blue clothes instead of their school uniforms and filling spaces around campus with beautiful plants as part of our sustainability initiatives. Donations were also collected to support Yayasan Help for Refugees Indonesia. These activities not only encouraged children to engage with global causes but also allowed them to make a tangible impact on their school environment and the wider community.

World Children’s Day at NAS Jakarta is more than just a celebration, it is an opportunity for our students to develop empathy, responsibility, and a sense of agency. By taking part in these meaningful activities, our students learn that even small actions can contribute to a better, greener, and more compassionate world.

At NAS Jakarta, we are committed to nurturing children who are curious, respectful, and collaborative, making a difference both inside and outside the classroom.
