Robotics in Year 3

Over the last couple of weeks, Year 3 have spent time learning about technology including how to programme and control robots using the Wonder Software. The children have been really excited to play with the robots and have demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills to find solutions to problems that they have encountered. 

This introduction to technology allows children to explore various possibilities of control and programming before moving onto more sophisticated coding.  The Dash and Dot robots that we use are extremely versatile and have many different attachments such as pens, hooks and arms to really extend children’s imagination and thinking; allowing children to think outside of the box and be really creative.
