Elevating your child’s learning experience through play invitations is one of the answers to the question: "How do I support my child's learning at home?" A play invitation should be inviting and attention grabbing, however, it does not have to be FIERCE (that is, Fabulous, Involving adults, Expensive, Result-driven, Creative and Elaborate). The key is to work with what you have.

Our bazaar is a vibrant and popular annual event for both our own school community and the wider expat and local community in South Jakarta. It is a great day for the community to come together to socialize, eat and drink, and take part in a wide range of fun games and activities for the whole family.

Year 6 graduation was celebrated on Thursday at a beautiful outdoor venue close to the school. It was a time for parents and staff to feel proud of our students as we enjoyed their musical performance and reflections on their time at NAS Jakarta.

After weeks of planning, the Year 4 and 5 students held a mystery movie fundraiser, raising over 11 million IDR for the UNICEF W.A.S.H programme.

On Wednesday 28 May 2019, the whole school community had a wonderful time celebrating Pancasila Day.

What an amazing time everyone had on Saturday at the family Fun Day - and it certainly was fun.

NIS is organizing a music group that is fun and friendly music sessions for little ones aged 0-24 months.

Attended by over 800 people, NIS Bazaar 2018 was successfully held on Saturday 1 December for our wider NIS Jakarta community.

What a wonderful day of Family Fun was had by all on Saturday at NIS. It was a very active, fun and messy morning as the children explored all the different activities on offer; face painting and nail art, stone painting and ice block magic, assault course and climbing frame challenges, story time, sand and water play and much more.

Every class was challenged to produce a collaborative piece of art inspired by one of the 4 elements that will be our new House Teams; Earth, Water, Wind, Light.
