Igniting a Passion for Dance with the Juilliard School

At NAIS Pudong, the performing arts are brought to life through our transformative partnership with the world famous Juilliard School in New York. Using the Juilliard Creative Classroom, our teachers inspire creativity, confidence, and a lifelong love of the arts.

Recently, our teachers Ms Nati (Dance & PE) and Ms Aleks (Music) took part in professional development with Juilliard specialists at our sister school NACIS in Shanghai. They returned inspired and ready to bring fresh energy into our classrooms.

As Ms Nati shared, “I had the chance to work directly with Juilliard’s performing arts experts to learn advanced techniques and innovative teaching methods that I am excited to integrate into our dance curriculum here at school. This professional growth translates directly into extraordinary experiences for our students.”
This November, we will welcome a Juilliard Dance Specialist to NAIS Pudong for a series of exclusive masterclasses, and our students will join the global Juilliard Dance Project "Feet First", connecting them with peers from around the world through our Global Campus platform.

Ms Aleks added, “The Juilliard Approach, with its core values of active exploration, reflection, and success for all, ensures that every student, regardless of their experience or ability, can find a point of entry and inclusion. Personally, the course reignited my own artistic passion.”
We are excited for this next chapter in the performing arts at our school, where students connect, collaborate, and shine on a global stage.
