NAISHK students achieved strong results with 100% of our students being awarded 5 or more A*- C grades (including English and Maths), with 49% of the results being grade A*/A.

Welcome to our new teachers

Following two years of great dedication and hard work by our IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) students, we are delighted to announce an excellent first set of Diploma results.

The Secondary Leadership team are immensely proud of the achievements of our pupils who have demonstrated impressive progress across all their subjects.

We are extremely proud of our first IB cohort, 100% of whom have received offers from their first choice of University. These include top HK universities such as HKUST as well as the UK Russell Group universities of Bristol, Durham & York. Our first IB Art’s graduate has been accepted into University of Arts in London which is in the top three institutions in the world for Art and Design.

It is my pleasure to welcome you all here to our first ever IB visual art exhibition and to celebrate Kelly’s successful competition of the course.

This year’s NAE Virtual Young Musician of the Year competition 2021 has been bigger and more impressive than ever! Well done to all of the students from NAISHK that entered this competition, giving excellent performances that clearly showcase the great talent at our school.

Since last summer, our teachers have been collaborating with Nord Anglia teachers around the world to create outstanding virtual resources for Global Campus.

We are thrilled and incredibly proud to have been selected as one of the winners in the 2021 International School Awards this year.

This week, and regularly throughout the year, the teachers address E-Safety with the students to prepare them for their use of technology and their journey’s online. It isn’t an easy task and requires much repetition and the support of home and community.

During their English lessons on Friday, our year 10s were ‘Zoom’ed across to Los Angeles, California where they were joined by author and screenwriter Simon Stephenson. Simon is the author of the acclaimed memoir “Let Not the Waves of the Sea” about the loss of his brother Dominic in the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004.

We are delighted to announce that our ‘Class of 2020’ IGCSE students achieved a 100% 5 or more A* to C pass rate, with 64% of all grades at A*-A.

Despite the temporary closure of many of our school campuses, Nord Anglia’s Global Campus has been open and busier than ever. One area that has been of specific interest has been The Big Question where students at the Prague British International School in the Czech Republic set a discussion question about the impact of Covid-19 on the UN’s Global Goals.

As so many schools around the world now find themselves switching to online learning, over the next few weeks we wanted to share some of the resources that our wonderful teachers have created and used as part of our on going Virtual Learning at NAIS HK.
