Dover Court Year 10 - Football Coach Education

We are pleased to have partnered with the British Football Academy Singapore, to introduce Football Coach Education to a group of our Year 10 students.

Run by coach Mark Davis, the students experience classroom based, as well as practical sessions, learning what it takes to be a good coach. The students are taught how to set up sessions, what makes a good warm up and football coaching skills.

The seven week course will lead to the Dover Court Year 10 students leading and coaching a session for a Primary school class. Learning how to coach empowers the students, builds on their confidence and encourages them to take responsibilites; building skills that will be useful throughout life. We also hope that this will lead to some of our students pursuing a coaching route in the future!
