The school is meant to be a serene place of learning, but it can't be completely free of the vagaries of the real world. When the state forces the takeover of one of the nation's largest banks by another, waves reach the school. Is there any possible point of view from which to draw lessons for our students?

We are pleased to announce that all 25 candidates for the 2023 Swiss Maturité have obtained their demanding diploma: 100% success for an inclusive school is a magnificent achievement to be celebrated.

Our alumnus William Gargiullo, has recently participated in the World Marathon Challenge. The 68-year-old runner has completed 7 marathons in 7 days, on 7 continents, in sometimes extreme weather conditions (from -10 to 30 degrees).

During the February school holidays, our boarders have enjoyed a week of non-stop winter sports in Zermatt, one of Europe’s highest mountain stations and home of Switzerland’s most famous peak, The Matterhorn, which might remind you of a very popular Swiss chocolate.

I have the privilege of observing the daily evolution of educational and pedagogical theories in the classroom. To summarise, there are two visions of knowledge acquisition in schools.

On February 4th, 17 secondary school students —together with sports teacher Samy and two chaperones— will travel to Tanzania to attempt to climb the Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 5,895 meters.

The multidisciplinary real-life projects allow students to connect the theory with practice and understand its real-world application, all while having fun!
