Cafeteria service on Monday morning – Please take note that on Monday, December 12th the cafeteria will be closed from 7:30am to 9:10am.  

We appreciate parents completing the following FORM to update your contact information on our school database. Any questions, please contact Isabel Quirós at isabel.quiros@cds.ed.cr. Thank you! 

We are continuously searching for better ways in which to communicate important information to our parent community.  For this reason, we have now created a Whatsapp group called CDS Communications that parents can join using the following link: JOIN GROUP. 

Important information about this group: 

• The CDS MAC Department will be the administrator and the only contact allowed to send messages 

• Please be mindful that parents who voluntarily join will be sharing their contact details with other members of the group.  It is not anonymous. 

• This chat will complement our communication channels.  It will not replace our official form of communication through email.  

Fun Run
 

Congratulations to Lucía Pulido for winning the Fun Run t-shirt design contest!  We will be sharing more information in the coming months, but for now make sure you save the date!  

Global Games 

With great pride we share with you the results of our school participation in the The Americas Global Games last week. Our students not only enjoyed competing in the various sports, but also got the opportunity to meet students from other NAE schools. 

Congratulations to all for these incredible achievements! 

• Swimming: Gold in 4 x 100 medley relay & Gold in 4X100 breaststroke relay.
• Gold medal for Boys Track 4x100 mts relay
• Silver medal for Boys Gold Soccer 
• Gold medal for Boys Silver Soccer 
• Gold medal for Boys Bronze Soccer 
• Broze medal for Boys Volleyball 
• Bronze medal for Boys Tennis 
• Overall Champion for Small Schools

Dear CDS Families, Students and Staff, 

With the winter holidays approaching, and extended time away from school, your CDS Library would like to invite you to check-out extra books to keep you reading over break! We are happy to help you look for good books or give you suggestions on some of our favorite new arrivals. 

Please take a look at the following dates and let us know if you have any questions. 

• December 12 - December 16: Students from Prep to 12th can check-out to 5 books to take home for vacation
• December 15: Parent/Family Book Check-Out Day. We would love to invite families to come to the library and take pre-arranged book packs that we’ve curated just for you, or you may look around for your own selection.
