It’s been another short week with two public holidays at the start of the week to celebrate Malaysia Day. We finished the week on a high with an assembly from Mr Antcliffe on a vital theme “Growth Mindset”.

We’re excited to share that Aryan Year 11 has been selected as one of only two students from Malaysia to attend the prestigious Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy (HLCA) at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, this October.

BSKL Lion Sasha Year 12 has once again roared at the national stage with incredible achievements at the Under 18 National Schools championship (MSSM) and the Under 23 National Higher Education Games (SIPMA), bringing pride to both BSKL and the state of Selangor!

BSKL’s annual international university fair was held early September, with over 50 universities from around the world in attendance.

The 2024/25 Empowered to Succeed Awards was a truly memorable evening, recognising students who shone in academics, the arts, sport, and community life.

It may have been a short week, but what a busy and rewarding one it has been! It was fantastic to see so many of you at our Curriculum Mornings.

As we move forward into the school year, one of the most powerful ways we can support our children’s growth, both academically and emotionally, is through the food they eat. Good nutrition isn’t just about physical health; it directly affects energy levels, concentration, mood, and overall wellbeing.

On 4th September, we were pleased to welcome a large group of parents to BSKL for our presentation on Academics, Pathways, and Student Support in Secondary.

Following their outstanding performances at the Petaling Utama District Athletics Championships (MSSD) in June, siblings Sasha Year 12 and Zac Year 10 were selected to represent the district at the 2025 Selangor State Schools Athletics Championship (MSSS).

Last week, a group of twelve enthusiastic and talented BSKL students took part in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round in Kuala Lumpur — an international celebration of learning, collaboration and curiosity.

First week back: smiles, calm routines, and a brilliant start.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all back at the start of this new academic year.

At BSKL, we know that the spaces where children learn, play, and grow are just as important as the lessons they receive.

What a week it was for BSKL at the 2025 MSSD Petaling Utama Athletics Championship!  The most competitive 4 day meet in the district brought together nearly 3,000 athletes from 125 schools, with around 6,000 total entries across numerous track and field events, some with over 50 athletes vying for a medal. 

This week marked two very special milestones in the BSKL Primary School calendar as we celebrated both the Reception and Year 6 Graduation Ceremonies.

On Thursday afternoon, students from our BSKL Alumni network returned to BSKL to speak to Years 10 and 12 to share their experiences from studying at some of the most prestigious universities around the world.

Last weekend, BSKL Sixth-Form students took part in inter-school events to help prepare them for pregisteous university applications to Oxbridge and Medical School's in the UK.

Earlier this week, the BSKL Primary community came together for a series of inspiring Celebration Assemblies, marking the end of another fantastic academic year.

Last week, we welcomed back some of our Year 11 students to take part in an exciting and enriching Year 11 to Sixth Form Transition Week, designed to offer an insight into the next stage of their academic journey.

Over the last two weeks of term, a group of Year 12 students participated in our brand new internship programme.
