I hope you’ve all had a lovely week. It was wonderful to see so many of you at the fantastic Year 4 performance of What a Knight!

We are delighted to share that twelve of our talented mathematicians recently participated in the KL Intermediate Maths Challenge (KLIMC) at The International School @ ParkCity.

The Year 4 production of 'What a Knight!' sparkled from start to finish, filled with energy, humour, and heart. From the moment the curtain rose, the children’s confidence and enthusiasm lit up the stage.

A huge and well-deserved congratulations to our fantastic Secondary Swim Team for their outstanding performance at the Secondary AIMS Swim Meet last Saturday at GIS!

Our U15 squad delivered an outstanding three days of competition at this year’s FOBISIA Games in Thailand, representing BSKL with resilience, teamwork, and a relentless competitive spirit across all events.

We were overwhelmed by the amazing enthusiasm generated by the House Languages Competition.

Throughout October, the BSKL community came together to celebrate Black History Month, exploring the rich culture, origins, histories, and achievements of African and Caribbean communities and their diaspora.

Last weekend, BSKL had the honour of being represented at Malaysia’s first-ever International and Private Schools Debating Championships (MIPSDC), hosted at the prestigious International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Year 11 students, Wern Xin and Natasha, proudly took part in the tournament, competing among talented debaters from international and private schools across the country.

The value we asked to Students to display in the first House Competition of the year was Be Ambitious.

This year’s Y4–6 and Secondary Sports Days at Panasonic Stadium were packed with energy, excitement, and outstanding displays of determination and teamwork.

I hope you had a good week. This week, our Primary students have truly embodied the spirit of healthy competition through two much-anticipated events, our Primary Idol Competition and the Year 4–6 Sports Day.

Today’s Sports Day at the Panasonic Stadium was a wonderful celebration of determination, teamwork, and school spirit. The energy on the track and field was contagious, as students competed, encouraged one another, and pushed beyond their comfort zones.

BSKL is immensely proud to celebrate Sasha Year 12 who was named Sportswoman of the Year at the 15th Selangor Sports Championship (SUKSES) 2025, a remarkable feat that underscores her outstanding athletic talent and dedication.

Time is one of the most valuable resources our students have, yet it is also one of the easiest to overlook. Learning to manage time effectively is not just a skill for school: it is a foundation for lifelong success.
