Our Year 7 EAL students have been engaging in creative tasks, including a drama performance.

On Tuesday 4th June, our U11 FOBISIA Team departed Malaysia for Pattana, Thailand, for what would be an exhilarating, challenging and memorable 5 days of sport! After weeks of training, our Lions were ready to compete with the best and take part in one of the biggest sports tournaments in Asia.

We are thrilled to share the success of our first BSKL Adventure Program trip to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (F.R.I.M.), which took place on the 17th of May, 2024. Our Year 9 and 10 students embarked on a memorable day filled with learning, exploration, and fun.

The annual Multi-Sport Festival was a resounding success, showcasing the athletic prowess and spirited competition among the students.

The annual BSKL Idol took place with great success and excitement on Wednesday, 5th of June.

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students who participated in this year's British Biology Challenge! With 45,400 students participating worldwide, it's truly remarkable to see the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by our students.

During the week of the 13 May, BSKL Secondary saw an event-packed week from the Leaders for Change, a group of students across the Secondary school, who have been working to create long-term, meaningful relationships between BSKL and various charities in Malaysia, with the objectives of raising funds in support of their cause, and spreading awareness in the BSKL Community of the work these charities do.

Term 3 of 2024 has been a busy term for Sasha, Year 10, with her participating in several track and field events as athletes across Malaysia gear up for the 2024 SUKMA games (Sukan Malaysia under 21 games) which will be held later this year.

On Saturday 18th May, BSKL were proud to host the KL Junior Maths Challenge.

We are thrilled to announce that six of our talented swimmers have qualified for the Malaysia International Age Group Swimming Championship, which will be held at the end of April 2024.

We are thrilled to announce yet another resounding success at our 2nd NAE Invitational Swim Meet held in early May.

Serena (Year 11) and Sofieya (Year 7) spoke to 150 participants from around the world at the International Conference for Inclusive Education about their social enterprise which supports education and support for people with autism.

On Thursday 25th April, Mr Stephen Dunn from Juilliard arrived at BSKL for our annual curriculum specialist visit.

BSKL returned to the glorious slopes of Verbier for our annual BSKL Ski Trip.

On the vibrant Saturday of April 27th, the theater at BSKL resonated with the harmonious voices of over 400 students, marking yet another successful edition of the annual Big Sing.

Musicians from across Nord Anglia Education compete annually in a Young Musician of the Year competition. This year, many BSKL students took up the challenge.

Just before the Easter break on April 3rd, the school community came together for a special event.

This week Year 2 performed their long-awaited production, 'The Zany Zoo' to the school and to parents and carers.

Five schools collaborated over the course of three days to produce an impressive concert, incorporating elements from all three branches of the performing arts for the Nord Anglia Performing Arts Festival with BSKL as the host last week.

We have had a fantastic week celebrating Earth Week at BSKL. Across the school, the students have been reflecting on our theme ‘Sustainability and Plastic Waste’.
