As part of the ongoing Nord Anglia – Juilliard collaboration, Donna Costello, the Dance Curriculum Specialist from Juilliard visited BSG last week to support teaching and learning.

The British School of Guangzhou community kicked off December the right way with a very special ‘Winter Wonderland’ event, celebrating all that is special about this season. Our Toddlers, Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Reception and Year 1 students gathered at The Jumeirah Hotel, in their most stunning festive outfits, along with their friends and family.

We are thrilled to share the great news that, thanks to this amazing event and the contributions of everyone involved, we managed to raise 114,500 RMB for our chosen Charity, Hopeful Hearts Charity, Guangzhou.

On Saturday, 40 of those learners, friends and colleagues, including BSG staff, students, parents and friends, got together at Qingyuan Lion Lake Golf Club (清远狮子湖高尔夫俱乐部)  for a memorable day of golf, getting to know each other and a little bit of competition.

We are delighted to share the exceptional achievements of BSG students in this year's IGCSE examinations. With 60% of students earning A*-A grades, 92% achieving A*-C grades, and an overall pass rate of 99.7%, this cohort has truly upheld the long tradition of academic excellence at The British School of Guangzhou.

On Wednesday 29th May, 23 students (5 Year 5’s and 18 Year 6’s) and 3 staff made their way to Baiyun Airport, excited and ready for the U11’s FOBISIA Games in Thailand.

We are thrilled to announce the outstanding achievements of our Class of 2024! Each student has received various offers from top universities across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and worldwide, making us incredibly proud. Well done, Class of 2024!

From the 16th to the 20th of May, the British School Guangzhou had the incredible opportunity to participate in this year’s FOBISIA Intermediate Choir and Orchestral Festival held at the British School Jakarta.

It is with great pride and joy that we celebrate the outstanding success of our Primary Production cast, who enchanted audiences last week with Disney’s The Lion King KIDS. Simba’s iconic journey through the African savanna was vividly brought to life on stage by our talented young performers.

It is our pleasure to extend to you our invitation to become a part of ourhigh-achieving community and take advantage of our scholarship programme.Tailored to students aged 9 to 16 (Year 5-Year 12), our programme caters to a wide range of passions and interests.

We traveled to The British School of Beijing, Shunyi, where we competed against three other schools. We had four teams, named the Coding Carrots, AI Intelligence, Dia, and BSG Bratz. The points among all the BSG teams were very close, but team Dia emerged as the victors and secured second place. The team 'Code 4' from Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong were the overall winners and secured first place.

On Wednesday 17th April, BSG held the second Nord Anglia Chess Tournament, inviting schools from around Guangzhou to compete against each other.
