Ms. Kathia Nowak studied Psychology at New York University Abu Dhabi, with minors in Arts and Environmental Science. As the Enrichment Program Coordinator on The Bridge Team, she oversees the school's enrichment provisions and leads all aspects of SAT and ACT preparation programs, as well as PSAT administration. Ms. Nowak works closely with students to help them develop the skills, strategies, and confidence needed for success in standardized testing, while also guiding them in selecting the exam that best aligns with their strengths, goals, and university aspirations.
Ms. Nowak is also a native Spanish speaker. With Guatemalan-Mexican roots and an international education background, she supports the Middle School Spanish program. She is passionate about language learning and enjoys bringing Hispanic and Latin American cultures to life in the classroom, helping students connect with the Spanish-speaking world through a global lens.
Drawing on a student-centered and data-informed approach, she combines empathy with academic rigor to support students throughout their testing journey. She is committed to helping every student recognize their potential and make informed decisions about their future pathways. Outside of school, she enjoys exploring the connections between art, nature, and mental wellness, bringing a holistic perspective to both her personal and professional life.
