Field Day is a special day at our Secondary school where we step away from the traditional classroom setting and embark on exciting learning experiences. This year, we have four field days scheduled throughout the year, each offering unique opportunities for students to explore different aspects of the curriculum and their personal interests.

This year the secondary school has selected four days when students will be off schedule for a day. The dates for these days are below:

June 17, 2025

Why have field days?

Different sections of the school get to deliver an experience that supplements, enriches or challenges areas of the curriculum, well-being or student experience.

Year 7: Soared to new heights at the Adler Planetarium, where they explored the wonders of the universe and learned about astronomy.
Year 8: Unleashed their inner adventurers at Go Ape Chicago, swinging through the trees and conquering challenging obstacle courses.
Year 9: Cheered on the White Sox at a thrilling baseball game, experiencing the excitement of a live sporting event.
Year 10: Focused on wellness and self-care with a day of relaxation and mindfulness activities.
Year 11: Embarked on a nature adventure at the Indiana Dunes, hiking through scenic trails and discovering the beauty of the natural world.
Year 12: Put their problem-solving skills to the test at an escape room and explored the city on a scavenger hunt.
