As we prepare for the start of a new school year, parents and students may be apprehensive given what happened in Uvalde this past May. To put parents at ease, we have outlined what we have done and will continue to do to ensure The Village School is a safe environment for students to learn and grow.

The Village School and NAE's collaboration with UNICEF provides opportunities for our students to engage with and influence leaders at regional and global summits. One of these recent events was the NAE-UNICEF Global Goals Student Summit 2021. Village students Alex Ilacqua and Solemei Scamaroni served as our student ambassadors and were given the opportunity to connect virtually with other students around the world and discuss topics such as climate change, mental health, and education.

Abhi Sundaram and Samir Kavadi, Village High School Class of 2014, recently began their own business, CHAIBOY™. Aimed at reshaping the tea industry’s identity, their company explores the various ways in which tea can be used to create everlasting experiences.

Adeline Mai, Village sophomore, and her dance company were recently named finalists in the 2021 Young American Grand Prix Finals. YAGP is the world’s largest ballet competition with over 12,000 auditions in more than 25 cities around the globe.
