A Typical Day at British International School Charlotte, NC
While there's no such thing as a "typical day" at BIS Charlotte, your child's school day will broadly follow similar timings:
- Students start to arrive around 8:30 am
- School starts at 8:45 am
- A short mid-morning recess is held after 10:00 am
- An hour for lunch is at 12:30 pm (12:00–1:15 pm for Early Years)
- End of lessons at 3:30 pm
- After-school clubs until 4:30 pm
- After-school childcare for children in Nursery through Year 9 is available until 6:00 pm upon request
Your child may have a lunch provided by our catering company, if you wish - meals start at $5.50. Lunches are designed to provide a healthy choice of food for your growing child.
