History of the Crown Y10

Y10 in IGCSE Global Citizenship figured out the different types of government and leadership in one of our first lessons on democracy. This is part of the first unit of the course called Politics & Government. In response to Queen Elizabeth II’s passing last week, we followed this up with a lesson on the history of the British Empire and how this transformed into the Commonwealth of nations. This lesson focused on the transformation of government from colonial rule to independent states.
