Building Games

This week Y8 created and played their own games as an entry point to the IMYC Development unit. Each had a development theme with a big picture thinking statement of, "Long lasting changes take place slowly over time." This strongly links to learning that Y8 will be embarking on over the next few weeks, looking at the ways in which countries around the world develop, what holds them back, the development gap, and challenging stereotypes. One of the games had what was called the "risky road" which caused great hilarity, as this was where great fortunes could be made or you could lose it all! Well done Y8 – great effort paid off with great fun!
