Year 3/4 have been learning about the Stone Age, including finding out more about life in Skara Brae, which is the oldest known Stone Age settlement in Europe. This week, we recreated artifacts that have been found at the site as well as 3D models of the houses. Here's what some students had to say about our activity:
- "They did not have metal so they used stone, bone and animal skins."
- "House number 7 could only be locked from the outside, which means it could have been used as a prison."
- "They found two women's bodies under house number 7!"
