IGCSE Geography - Earthquakes In IGCSE Geography we have been studying earthquakes and earthquake-proof building design.
In IGCSE Geography we have been studying earthquakes and earthquake-proof building design.
We tested this out with our own construction materials - marshmallows and spaghetti! With cross-bracing, isolated bases, damper rods and weights the towers were very successful - withstanding substantial shaking (measuring in between 6 and 10 on the Richter scale).
