Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Szemlőhegyi cave near the school last week. The children are currently learning about Light and Dark. Each class entered the cave as a group with an English speaking guide and learned about all the features of the cave system.

Year 2 visited Szemlohegyi cave
Year 2 enjoyed a visit to Szemlőhegyi cave near the school last week. The children are currently learning about Light and Dark. Each class entered the cave as a group with an English speaking guide and learned about all the features of the cave system.
They visited the interactive museum and tried out climbing through a replica of a tiny hole that was the original entrance to a large part of the cave. At the end of the visit they experienced what it is like to be in total darkness! Year 2 staff are very grateful to the parent volunteers who joined us on the visit.
