Mr. Liam Strachan

As Head of Lower School (Toddlers to Year 6/5th Grade), Liam leads a collaborative, student-centered community that nurtures curiosity and a love of learning. With leadership experience spanning 18-month-olds to Year 9 (8th Grade), he previously served as Deputy Head at Nord Anglia International School New York, where he championed inclusion, student well-being, academic excellence, and strong partnerships with parents as essential collaborators in their child’s education. Passionate about continuous school improvement, Liam actively involves staff, students, and parents in shaping a shared vision and driving positive change.

Originally from Scotland and a graduate of the University of Aberdeen with a Bachelor of Education (Honors), Liam brings an adventurous spirit and passion for travel, enriching the school’s vibrant community. Known for his approachable leadership, he is committed to empowering educators to grow professionally and inspiring students to create their future in an engaging, supportive environment.
